Liver plays an important role in producing proteins in our body and stores vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates in the bile. If the liver does not work properly then the hormones become unbalanced and diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure and arthritis can also occur. These diets save the liver from infections and prevent diseases.
By germinating the grains, the body receives good amounts
of protein and enzymes. Both of these elements act as catalysts in
physiological functions. Due to sprouted grain like gram or walnut etc., the
risk of infection in the liver is not equal to. Because of their high content
of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds like quercetin, it has been
found that consumption of sprouted grains can lead to a healthier liver and
reduce potential problems like cirrhosis or fatty liver disease.
Leafy vegetables
Broccoli and green leafy vegetables such as cauliflower
have many types of nutrients and fibers are also found in good quantities. The
sulfur present in it helps in excretion toxins. It is also beneficial in the
action of digestion and increase absorption.
Grapes and berries
It is beneficial to drink grapes juice if swollen liver
is present. Plant compounds in it reduce swelling of the liver and increase the
antioxidant. Berry juice is also very beneficial for liver. Drink lemon juice
every 3 times a week, the liver remains completely healthy.
Consuming grapes also reduced liver, kidney and abdominal
fat weight, compared with those consuming the control diet. Additionally, grape
intake increased markers of antioxidant defense, particularly in the liver and
kidneys.
Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and cranberries
are among nature's superfoods because they contain phytochemicals—antioxidant-rich
plant compounds that help your liver protect your body from free radicals and
oxidative stress, which have been linked to chronic diseases and aging.
Olive oil
Olive oil is also very helpful in keeping the liver
healthy along with the heart. Liver enzymes and fat cells are better if one
spoon of olive oil is consumed regularly. It is also beneficial in keeping
blood flow smooth in the liver. The oil works having an antioxidant effect on
fat-storing liver cells. Liver damage is caused by inflammation and oxidative
stress; olive oil can reduce this stress. It also has anti-inflammatory
properties that can reduce inflammation throughout the body.
Garlic and Beetroot
Garlic is a compound known as aelinin. These compounds
save liver from a lot of harmful chemicals to a great extent. Whereas beetroot
juice is a good source of antioxidant and nitrate. They preserve the natural
enzyme in the liver and keep the liver healthy. According
to the British Liver Trust, liver disease has been on the rise in recent years.
Although you cannot control all of the pollutants that tax your liver on a
daily basis, you can give it a boost by incorporating detoxifying foods, such
as beets, into your diet.
